Your responsibilities

We are looking for a Data Analyst with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing team in Vienna or Budapest. • Establish end-to-end data flows, from data ingestion and transformation to analytics and visualization.
  • Develop data models, support maintenance and implementation of data pipelines and data warehouses.
  • Build and optimize interactive dashboards and reports (primarily in Power BI or similar tools) to provide actionable insights into investment portfolios and venture performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business metrics and KPIs, ensuring that data analytics aligns with strategic goals.
  • Continuously improve data quality, documentation, and governance across projects.
  • Participate in the full project lifecycle — from data architecture and proof of concept to implementation and continuous optimization.
  • Support and mentor junior team members when needed and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the analytics community at V_labs.

Your JOb Profile

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, report creation) or comparable BI tools.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Fabric, or similar modern data platforms is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with investment or financial data (e.g., portfolio analytics, performance metrics) is an advantage.
  • Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Completed IT-related education or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent English skills; German is a plus.
7th January 2026 is the planned start date.
